Why Decatur Choose Us
Precision Exterior Care
Decatur's Charming Streets
Deserve a Pristine Finish
Decatur's vibrant downtown square, shaded residential neighborhoods, and proximity to Agnes Scott's historic campus make it one of metro Atlanta's most walkable communities. But those beloved oaks drop sap and pollen in equal measure, and Georgia's clay-rich soil leaves its mark on every vehicle parked along Church Street or East Lake.
Our exterior detailing services — from multi-stage paint correction to long-lasting ceramic coatings — are built to handle Decatur's unique mix of tree cover, seasonal pollen storms, and humid Southern summers. We protect your paint so it looks as good as the neighborhood.

"Where two ancient Indian trails once crossed, a city of character took root."
History & Heritage
The Story of Decatur
Decatur was established in 1823 as the county seat of DeKalb County and named for Commodore Stephen Decatur, the celebrated American naval hero of the War of 1812. The city grew around a courthouse square on a ridge where two Native American trails intersected — a crossroads that would define Decatur's identity for centuries. Early settlers were primarily farmers and tradesmen of English, Scottish, and Irish descent who migrated from the Carolinas and Virginia.
The arrival of the railroad in the 1840s proved pivotal. Legend holds that residents actually rejected a proposal to make Decatur a major stop on the Western & Atlantic line — the stop went to a settlement nearby that eventually became Atlanta. During the Civil War, the Battle of Decatur took place in 1864, and General Sherman is said to have stopped at the High House on Sycamore Street. Decatur founded its own independent school system in 1901 and has maintained it ever since, one of the few municipalities in metro Atlanta to do so. Today, Decatur Square is the beating heart of a vibrant, walkable city known for its independent restaurants, annual Book Festival, and tight-knit community spirit.
