Why Covington Choose Us
Exterior Care Built for Georgia
Newton County's Countryside Charm
Comes With Real-World Wear
Covington's picture-perfect town square and oak-lined streets have made it a filming destination — but behind the camera-ready scenery, Georgia's red clay, intense UV, and seasonal pollen don't take days off. Vehicles parked along the square or in neighborhoods off Highway 278 face constant environmental assault.
Our exterior detailing — from paint decontamination to ceramic coatings — is calibrated for Newton County's conditions. We protect your vehicle's finish against the real-world elements that come with living in one of Georgia's most charming small cities.

"A town so photogenic, it's starred in more films and shows than most actors."
History & Heritage
The Story of Covington
Covington was incorporated in 1822 as the county seat of Newton County, situated along the road between Augusta and the state capital of Milledgeville. The city is named for General Leonard Covington, a hero of the War of 1812. Covington's early economy centered on cotton agriculture, and the antebellum era left a legacy of grand homes and oak-lined streets that define the town's character to this day.
During the Civil War, Covington served as a Confederate hospital town, with many of its large homes converted to medical use. The town was occupied by Union cavalry in 1864 during Sherman's March. In the modern era, Covington's remarkably well-preserved town square and picturesque neighborhoods have made it one of the most filmed small towns in the South. Productions including The Vampire Diaries, The Dukes of Hazzard, In the Heat of the Night, and dozens of other films and TV series have used Covington as a backdrop, earning it the nickname "The Hollywood of the South."
